School Parliament
Six years ago our School Council was relaunched as the School Parliament with the motto 'Democracy in action.'
At the start of the academic year, each year group democratically selects two pupils; a boy and a girl, to represent their class. This is a great opportunity for the pupils to get involved and influence how our school is run.
School Council meet every Thursday at lunchtime with Miss Martindale, the School Council leader. They discuss and express their views on a variety of issues, subjects and new ideas on behalf of themselves and their fellow students, on how to ensure our school remains a healthy and happy place for everyone to learn.
