New Pedagogies for Deep Learning Global Network
Polars Farm is a member of the GMT cluster (Europe and South Africa). We utilise the network to collaborate with partners in Scotland and The Netherlands but we often invite our other international partner schools to join us. For example, in 2022-23 we worked on a Human Rights project called Visual Voices with schools in The Netherlands and Romania and in 2023-24 we invited schools in Lebanon and Lincolnshire to join us on the Human Rights project called, ' Say it out, mail it out!'
In 2024-25 we have united to include Moldova and existing partners to focus on animal welfare project entitled 'Voiceless and Vulnerable.' Photos to follow!
We are excited to lauch our project, "Voices of our Elders" for 2025-26 and look forward to collaborating with our partners once again. This project will have an intergeneration theme and we will be inspired by the book, 'Super Nani and Captain Yaz' and will focus on the Article 29 from the Universal Declaration on the Rights of the Child:
"Children's education should help them fully develop their personalities, talents and abilities. It should teach them to understand their own rights, and to respect other people's rights, cultures and differences."
The author of our focus book has been written by Saira Shah, a relative of one of our very own Reception children!
