At Poplars Farm Primary School all of the children in Year 5 attend swimming lessons at Eccleshill Swimming Pool.
Schools are now required to publish how many Year 6 pupils have met the national curriculum requirements relating to swimming and water safety.
National Curriculum requirements for swimming and water safety:
* Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
* Use a range of strokes effectively
* Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.
